LIMA AIRPORT PARTNERS PRESENTS RAISING COMMENTS FROM THE EIA TO SENACE
Callao, Peru, Monday, September 24, 2018
Complying with the stipulated deadlines, Lima Airport Partners, operator of the Jorge Chavez International Airport, presented the 100% of the observations of the Modified Environmental Impact Study (EIA) corrected, after what was requested last August by the National Environmental Certification Service for Sustainable Investments (SENACE).
Thus, according to the established procedure, SENACE should issue a resolution confirming the approval of the MEIA, which would allow the environmental remediation of the land destined for the new infrastructure to begin this year and thereby start the project of expansion of the airport.
It should be noted that, to date, Lima Airport Partners is preparing the documentation to process the corresponding licenses and authorizations, necessary for the start of expansion works.
